Bourns expands Multifuse PPTC resettable fuse line

The part numbers added to the Model MF-LSMF Series feature a 60 VDC rated Vmax that meets the growing need for overcurrent protection in higher operating voltage applications. The four new MF-LSMF Series part numbers utilise Bourns innovative freeXpansion technology designed to boost resettable fuse performance and reliability to deliver superior overcurrent and overtemperature protection. Bourns developed this technology to meet strict protection needs for higher hold currents (Ihold), increased voltage ratings (Vmax), improved resistance stability and smaller footprints. For added reliability and longevity, Bourns uses Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) plating on all of its Multifuse PPTC Resettable Fuse SMD terminals, including the Model MF-LSMF family. This plating method is widely adopted in the electronics industry due to its extended shelf life, superior solderability and high reliability.
