Singaporean-based technology development company, Swag Soft, aims to facilitate the process of career selection in an engaging and comprehensive Virtual Reality world.Through interacting with more than a hundred in-game characters across 27 different industries, students will learn about various aspects of each occupation - such as the work environment, required dress code, job specifications and key responsibilities.Previous generations of students learnt about careers through traditional means such as talks and TV programs.Through Career Quest however, students not only get exposed to a much wider spectrum of occupations, but even get involved in digital simulations of the jobs.Swag Soft was able to transform a mundane topic into an enjoyable experience through clever gamification and game design.
