As technology continues to expand into every aspect of our lives, STEM occupations, with their better wages and lower unemployment rates, attract a wide range of labor—with significant implications for economic development.This means the majority of new jobs will be in STEM fields, and educators have to prepare students for a workforce that will be vastly different from today.On November 8, students in Georgia, Texas, and California, as well as Mexico, Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica will use the Labdisc data logger to perform experiments.Participating schools will be able to download a MimioStudio™ interactive lesson file or PDF containing experiment information, collaborative activities, assessment, and more at boxlight.com/BLSTEMDAY2018 .Boxlight also provides educators with thousands of free lesson plans and activities via MimioConnect ® , an interactive teaching community.
