Fantuan Raises $40M in Series C Funding

Fantuan, a Vancouver, Canada-based provider of an Asian food delivery and life service platform, raised $40M in Series C funding. The round was led by GrubMarket and Celtic House Asia Partners, with participation from VisionPlus Capital, JSD Capital, and others. Founded in 2014 by Randy Wu, CEO, Fantuan is an Asian food delivery platform. The company, which is currently present in over 50 cities in Canada, the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom, has attracted talents including Yinfeng Lu, a former Meituan’s key executive, joined Fantuan as Chief Operating Officer. In addition to continuing to deepen its food delivery business, Fantuan has been exploring other service sectors, including fresh produce delivery, dine in service, ticketing service and more, to meet the needs of the Asian community and address market gaps.
