Nadeem, an MIT graduate with previous experience at Goldman Sachs and Ventura Capital, recognized the need to bridge the gap between high school graduation and university admission to ensure more students have access to higher education.EduFi has already established partnerships with 15 universities in Pakistan, allowing approximately 200,000 students to use the app for their undergraduate, Masters, and PhD fees. Unlike traditional banks with high-interest rates and complex application processes, EduFi offers a convenient and straightforward digital lending app with flexible loan terms and conditions.EduFi plans to utilize the pre-seed funding to expand its customer base, optimize its platform, venture into neighboring countries, and introduce additional fintech products, including student credit cards. The company aims to alleviate the financial burden on middle and low-income families in Pakistan, who spend more than 50% of their income on their childrens education.Education offers hope and can change the lives of people.
