Summary
The gas-filled ceramic contactors are engineered to manage continuous DC currents up to 600A and DC voltages as high as 1500V, making them essential for the rapid disconnection of lithium-ion batteries, achieving cut-off in under 30 milliseconds depending on the model. The HVC50s bi-directional capability makes it versatile, catering to both the charging and discharging of batteries and supporting motor drive systems with regenerative braking. Featuring a dual coil design and operating on a 24V working voltage, they consume a mere 5.5W in continuous duty.
