CPL founder Anne Heraty invests €500,000 in energy solutions firm Vivid Edge

Mr Walsh is the former group finance director of the group and has served as chief executive of the familys Woodford Capital investment vehicle.Tracy ORourke, a chartered accountant, was working with Bank of Ireland immediately prior to co-founding Vivid Edge. Founded in 2015, the company aims to help clients achieve journeys to net zero carbon emissions.The most recent publicly-available accounts for the firm show that it made a 433,000 loss in the 12 months to the end of September last year. That brought its accumulated losses to 1.9m.Ms Heraty and her husband Paul Carroll agreed in late 2020 to sell CPL Resources to Japanese HR firm Outsourcing Inc for 318m. That saw the couple net about 110m from the sale.Just weeks later, the couple secured another windfall when they lined up a sale of their majority-owned Trinity Care nursing home business for as much as 150m to Belgian healthcare property investment group Cofinimmo.Ms Heraty and Mr Carroll originally bought into Trinity Care in 2012, backing the acquisition of the former Guardian Healthcare business by its ex-chief executive Keith Robinson.
