Sincera Raises 4.2m In Seed Funding To Accelerate Development + Adoption Of Digital Advertisings First Metadata EngineLeading adtech + media companies are integrating with Sincera to directly activate and control Sinceras fleet of synthetic users, generating unique, cookieless, and privacy compliant data assets.Using Sincera, customers build data-driven, industry-defining solutions across some of todays most pressing issues in digital advertising: made-for-advertising detection, consent enforcement, attention-based targeting, and detection of malicious ad creative.The seed funding round was led by NextView Ventures, who previously invested in the seed round for Triplelift, a leading Supply Side Platform that was recently purchased by Vista Partners.- Dave Beisel, partner at NextView who will join Sinceras board following the funding round.Joining NextView in Sinceras seed round are Aperiam Ventures, LiveRamp Ventures, and The Trade Desks TD7 venture group. As part of their investment, The Trade Desk will collaborate with Sincera on developing an industry-leading Made-for-Advertising (MFA) detection model.- Jeff Green, CEO and co-founder of The Trade Desk.Alongside the investing syndicate are leading angel investors in adtech, including Jonah Goodhart, Ari Paparo, Auren Hoffman, and Dave Yaffe.- Jonah Goodhart, one of the co-founders of MOAT analytics and an investor in Sincera.- Mike OSullivan, the CEO and co-founder of Sincera.In order to serve inbound customer activity, Sincera will use a portion of the seed round to grow the size of the engineering and analyst team.Sincera Technologies was founded by Mike OSullivan and Ian Meyers, two established industry leaders with a deep background in the technical challenges in building complex products and services for digital advertising. Mike and Ian have a combined experience of 20 years building and supporting ad technology at leading companies such as Index Exchange, Roku, Microsoft, LiveRamp, Criteo and AppNexus.
