PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has accepted an Islamic banking financing facility of up to RM100mil from AmBank Islamic Bhd.To recap, AWC had on Sept 14, 2023 announced that it had entered into a conditional share sale and purchase agreement for the proposed acquisitions of the remaining 49% equity interest in Stream Group Sdn Bhd and a 51% equity interest in Premium Patents Sdn Bhd for RM110mil.AWC has secured the necessary funding and is one step closer to completing the proposed acquisitions. When completed, Stream Group will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of AWC, it said in a statement yesterday.
