11 local, national charities split $375K in Do It Best grants

A mix of national and Fort Wayne-based health, arts and youth organizations are benefiting from $375,000 worth of grants from the Do It Best Foundation.The foundation is the charitable arm of the Fort Wayne-based hardware company.Its an honor for us to be able to contribute to the continued success of these difference makers in the places our team calls home, Foundation President Nick Talarico said in a news release. From arts and education, to health care assistance, counseling services, and emergency preparedness, these grants represent a wide range of initiatives to build the best future for kids and families in our communities. Advocacy Center for Crime Victims and Children of Waco, Texas: $5,000 Rising on the Ridge of Lexington, South Carolina: $800The next round of grants will be decided in early 2024.
