Intuit Adds AI Assistant To TurboTax, Other Financial Software

Financial software firm Intuit (INTU) on Wednesday unveiled an artificial intelligence assistant for its product lineup. The Mountain View, Calif.-based company said its Intuit Assist offering will provide personalized, intelligent recommendations to help consumer and small business customers make smart financial decisions. The company said it fine-tuned Intuit Assist to solve tax, accounting, cash flow, personal finance, and marketing challenges. "With the introduction of Intuit Assist, were taking a giant step forward in powering prosperity for all," Chief Executive Sasan Goodarzi said in a news release. "Were creating a future where we do the hard work for small businesses and consumers to fuel their financial success, helping them achieve their dreams," He also said, "Leveraging our vast amounts of rich data and years of investment in AI and GenAI, were unlocking the power of our platform to reimagine AI-assisted customer experiences."
