Ukraine to Acquire Mobile Anti-Drone Solution From Teledyne, Kongsberg
Summary
The project includes the delivery of the Cerberus XL mobile C-UAS, surveillance systems, associated spares, software, support services, and training. The agreement is part of Kongsberg’s cooperation with the International Fund for Ukraine, a UK-launched global effort to procure vital capabilities to support the war-torn nation in its defense against Russia. Cerberus XL incorporates an advanced thermal and visual imaging system with highly sensitive radar sensors to enable quick target location and tracking of enemy drones. “Teledyne FLIR is proud to partner with Kongsberg in delivering our next-generation Cerberus XL as part of a complete and robust system to protect Ukraine’s warfighters,” Teledyne FLIR Defense Vice President and General Manager Dr. JihFen Lei stated. The fleet features ultra-low noise and light weight for covert target identification and reconnaissance missions on battlefields without GPS.
