How state hopes $14 million grant will bring more business to Marcy Nanocenter

Both Wolfspeed and Micron Technology, which is building a semiconductor plant in Clay, have created high demand for a supply chain campus to serve regional and on-site high-tech companies, officials said.The grant will go toward site development and support preparation, excavation and utility infrastructure work, an $18 million project.The Wolfspeed fabrication facility, which opened in April of last year, sits on the top 55 acres of the NanoCenter, leaving about 150 acres open, enough space for about 2.5 more fabs. None $325,000 to the Onondaga County IDA for the creation of a supply chain campus, including warehouses, manufacturing plans, and research and development centers, at the 104-acre Caughdenoy Industrial Park to support Micron.
