Japan debut extends Converge global footprint

Japan is an incredibly culture-rich country that contains many fascinating traditions and customs that can be traced far back into their ancient history. As part of the grand opening celebration for the new office, the Converge team ventured to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu, one of the nation’s most prominent Shinto shrines. Prior to entering the Tsuruaoka Hachimangu shrine, the team paid visit to its chouzou, (pictured). A chouzu is a fountain of holy water to be used by shrinegoers to cleanse themselves upon entering a shrine for prayer. The team then received a prayer from a priest of the shrine, wishing for prosperity and good fortune in Converge’s future.
