Honda carefully moving from hybrids to EVs

The redesigned three-row crossover has a boxier shape with rugged styling, increased passenger and cargo space, enhanced capability, a more refined interior and generous technology features. For 2023, Honda added a TrailSport model with 8.1 inches of ground clearance, 18-inch wheels, skid plates and other exclusive design elements. It now offers a bigger footprint, a host of safety and tech features, as well as more horsepower and torque compared to the outgoing model. The Odyssey entered its fifth generation for the 2018 model year and has only received small updates along the way, including a freshen in 2021. A second freshen is expected in 2024, which could add a mild hybrid powertrain and some minor revisions to the interior and exterior.
