At Beanfield, our goal has always been to connect Canadian communities and businesses by providing a fair, equitable and transparent alternative to Canadas telecom oligopoly.At the beginning of 2023, our leadership team and Digital Bridge (our majority owners) began looking for an additional partner who shared in our belief that this can and should happen. OMERS Infrastructure manages global infrastructure investments on behalf of its parent company OMERS (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System), the defined benefit pension plan for municipal employees in Ontario. Were excited for the expertise and passion OMERS Infrastructure will bring to all that we do.We would like to express thanks to all who participated in this process and especially to our employees and customers. From a little company born 35 years ago in a forgotten corner of downtown Toronto, you have shown that when a real alternative is offered, Canadians respond. By doing the right thing, in the right way and for the right reasons, we have no doubt that this new partnership with OMERS Infrastructure will help us continue to make a difference for Canadians.
