Visma takes over temporary employment software firm Clevergig to expand in Benelux region

Visma achieved revenue of €2.1 billion in 2022, a growth of 19% over 2021 and serves over 1.4 million customers across Europe and Latin America. The highly-acquisitive company offers a range of cloud software for enterprises, small businesses and the public sector including HRM and payroll solutions. Interestingly, HgCapital’s portfolio also includes The Access Group, a major provider of recruitment agency software. Clevergig will continue to operate under its own brand name under the banner of Visma’s Belgian subsidiary Beeple, a planning and communication tool for companies that work with flexible shift schedules. Clevergig offers its software solution to healthcare and education companies, mainly to organise their planning, time registration and billing processes.
