Previously, at Sun Microsystems she led the identity and access management business worldwide, including all areas of engineering and offshore development. Despite rising public awareness about the consequences of exposure, many leaders still struggle to contextualise that risk on a broader scale — and doing so will only be more important as companies become increasingly connected. As such, educating leaders about the importance of cyber-risk lifecycle management and giving IT teams the tools they need to communicate those risks remain our top priorities. This year, we’re focused on maintaining our SOC 2 and starting our FedRAMP certification which will allow us to provide our customers and prospects with evidence that our organisation has and is implementing security controls that support the ultimate goal of protecting sensitive data. We’ve found that keeping lines of communication open and staying receptive to feedback is critical to maintaining the balance between customer needs and business imperatives.
