GM hires ex-Apple leader to head new software team

Hes also been a visiting scholar at Stanford’s Artificial Intelligence Lab and a general partner at venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers where he focused on investments in mobile and cloud computing, as well as working with entrepreneurs.
