IQGeo Groups Software Selected by Major US Telecoms Operator

IQGeo Group PLC said Tuesday that its software has been selected by a large and rapidly growing tier 1 telecom operator in the U.S. to replace a competitors solution. The software developer said the contract for its OSPInsight fiber network management software is a significant win for its SMB software division, having a subscription value of $500,000 over three years and with more than $2.0 million in professional services to be recognized this year. The company said the first phase of the project will see the migration of network data from disparate systems into a unified single shared system of record, and the initial deployment has significant future expansion potential as the unnamed client rolls out software and expands applications. "We are confident that future project phases with this new customer will require expansion in the number of IQGeo software licenses and in the range of applications we can provide," Chief Executive Richard Petti said.
