Eaton opens sustainable factory in Norway to boost production

Developed for use in harsh and hazardous areas, Eaton’s HERNIS turnkey system solutions, which are part of its Crouse-Hinds series portfolio, are designed for oil and gas onshore, offshore, marine and mining environments where cybersecurity and resilience to harsh environments are critical requirements. The new factory replaces Eaton’s existing HERNIS plant in Norway which has been developing and producing CCTV technology since 1982. As we enhance and expand production in Arendal, it is a hugely exciting time for the business.” Eaton is dedicated to improving sustainability and energy efficiency, and this project is no exception.
