Tweed Raises $4M in Seed Funding
Summary
Tweed, a Tel Aviv, Israel and NYC-based provider of a plug and play white-label wallet and payment solution, raised $4M in Seed funding. The round was led by Accel with participation from Communitas Capital Partners, Zero Knowledge Ventures, Nicolas Julia, Mike Vaughan, Ameet Patel and Cristóbal Conde. Founded in 2022 by CEO Michelle Latzer (ex-Google tech infrastructure), CPO Julie Tauber (ex-Mastercard) and CTO Udi Hakim (ex-Cymotive/IDF), Tweed is a plug & play white-label wallet and payment solution that powers platforms entering the web3 space. The company currently offers a developer-friendly, white-label, and self-custodial wallet to help brands working in different areas, from gaming to retail and marketplaces, onboard users faster and securely, without regulatory licensing. Tweed’s SDKs are also developer-friendly as they integrate into existing sign up/login processes (e.g. social logins), without requiring extra steps for the user.
