This is a small adjustment release affecting only QuickBooks Enterprise V23 users, plus a small change for the Web Connector that won’t affect many users. You can also go to the QuickBooks Update site to download the patch. It is a bit clunky sometimes, but it works as long as the developer incorporates it correctly. With this update to QuickBooks Desktop Intuit has added a new pref type to the consent screen that lets you turn off the “unattended access” option. This gives developers the option to integrate their app and perform a data sync only when QuickBooks is running, rather than being able to access the database if QuickBooks isn’t active.
