Outdoor sports booking platform Captain Experiences reels in $2M

While the Austin, Texas-based startup is currently catering to the fishing and hunting verticals, it plans to expand across all outdoor sports and geographies.In just a few short years, weve substantiated Captains position as the largest platform for booking fishing guides in the U.S., Newar says. This financing allows our team to double down on growth within fishing across the U.S. and beyond, while also building upon our recent success launching hunting in Texas this past fall.Captain is the most recent addition to Bullishs portfolio of consumer brands including eyeglass retailer Warby Parker and interactive fitness platform Peloton, among others.We believe Captain can become the expert global outdoor sports platform, says Michael Duda, managing partner at Bullish.
