High-tech batch processing company MicroCapture encapsulates success with MRP Software

MicroCapture is a biodegradable microencapsulation application manufacturer with more than 75 years of combined experience, a dedicated R&D team, and an in-house laboratory for product development and testing. Moving from a paper-based system to digital spreadsheets worked out reasonably well for a number of years before the rising complexity of the manufacturing process pushed it to its limits. Following a move to Xero for its accounting, MicroCapture set out to find a new SME-oriented software solution to handle its production and inventory management. Whereas, MicroCapture’s manufacturing and operations teams struggled to get to grips with previous solutions, MRPeasy was accepted very well, and the initial implementation proved easy and fast. Kate Taylor, customer support executive, commented: “I set up BOMs and products in around a week and then spent a day with each department training them on how to do things in MRPeasy.” In addition to meeting its initial requirements, MRPeasy has helped streamline workflows, raising overall efficiency, and enabling MicroCapture to set up its workstations intuitively to handle very complex batch processing.
