Joyn Insurance Raises $17.7M in Series A Funding
Summary
The round was led by Omers Ventures with participation from Avanta Ventures, ManchesterStory, Cohen Circle, SiriusPoint, and several private individual investors. Representatives from Omers, ManchesterStory and Avanta Ventures will also be joining the Board of Directors of Joyn Insurance. The company intends to use the funds to further enhance its technology platform and data capabilities, to demonstrate the value of its technology-driven insurance offerings, and expand the size of the team by the end of this year. Launched in July 2021, the company has bound more than 500 policies with approximately 80 trading partners, covering more than 300 insureds. Today, Joyn offers E&S coverage for property, general liability and excess for companies across more than 700 NAICS codes in 36 states and Washington, D.C.
