Lets get this out of the way weve raised $100M in a Series B financing led by CRV and Insight Partners, with participation from our existing major investors: Accel, Heavybit, and Uncork Capital, along with a cast of many prominent angels and smaller investors.Ill get to that. Instead of comprehensively solving every case of one or two problems, we decided to work on only the parts that dont scale: The internal dashboard and CI system that will never need to be public-facing. I noticed that every time we improved the product quality getting the packets from point A to B more reliably, on more platforms, or for more people our growth rate went up that same day. But from what Ive seen, with any newly launched startup or product, once you hit a certain quality threshold, its good enough, and its time to add more features.Tailscale keeps defying my expectation.
