Polymer Factory Sweden AB (publ) has been approved for a grant of 455k from the European Defence Fund (EDF) for participation in the project Nano-SHIELD. The Company will contribute with the development of dendritic polymers for use in products protecting against chemical, biological, radiation, and nuclear (CBRN) threats. This will really provide Polymer Factory an opportunity to widen the applications for our dendritic technologies; with the aim to create products that help protect EU citizens against CBRN threats, this project can have a true impact on the future.Nano-SHIELD aims at delivering tomorrows groundbreaking respiratory device products to counteract threats such as chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear. Polymer Factorys dendritic products will be one of the key components in the development of nanofiber-based filtration membranes. Our dendritic products will empower the membranes with function being both scavengers and neutralizer of harmful bacteria, viruses etc.This disclosure contains information that Polymer Factory is obliged to make public pursuant to the EU Market Abuse Regulation (EU nr 596/2014).
