Bulgarian online marketplace Swipe.bg raises €510k in a seed round

The Sofia-based platform for buying and selling used smartphones Swipe.bg has raised 510,000 in a seed round to expand its operations. Founded in October 2021 by Mihail Dimitrov, Ognyan Popov, and Nikola Pavlov, Swipe.bg is the first Bulgarian platform for buying and selling second-hand mobile phones. The platform checks, certifies and help to sell used smartphones to consumers who want quality and working phones at low and affordable prices. The company buys used phones from consumers, gives them a quick evaluation through a platform on its site, then repairs them if needed. The fresh round was led by two Bulgarian early stage funds, Vitosha Venture Partners and New Vision 3.
