SilverEdge buys identity intelligence, ServiceNow specialist

SilverEdge Government Solutions has announced its second completed acquisition in as many weeks to continue that companys push into technology areas of interest for intelligence agencies. "We are increasing our cleared workforce to approximately 450 engineers and technical staff whose primary focus is to provide our intelligence customers with the tools required to support critical mission needs," SilverEdges chief executive Robert Miller said in a release. Founded in 2015 and led by CEO Theresa Keith, CTS and its 100-employee team also concentrate on software development and enterprise IT offerings. Reston, Virginia-headquartered SilverEdge is owned by the private equity firm Godspeed Capital. The national security technology integrator was stood up during the summer and announced its first acquisition with Godspeeds backing in mid-October that involved QVine, a software development and cloud computing services company.
