T_TEN Ransomware

General News

Summary

These threatening tools are equipped with strong encryption routines that can impact a diverse set of file types. As a result, nearly all of the documents, images, photos, PDFs, archives, databases, and many other files stored on the breached devices will be rendered unusable and inaccessible. The T_TEN Ransomware delivers the instructions of its operators as a pop-up window and a text file named Readme.txt created on the desktop of the device. As for the size of the demanded ransom, apparently, the price will depend on the time it takes victims to establish contact. The message found inside the threats text file reiterates essentially the same information, but it provides two additional emails (JRM_2022@mail2tor.com and honest_decript2022@mail2tor.com) that could be used as communication channels.
