Six Degrees Raises £8M in Funding; Acquires Cloud Computing Centre

Six Degrees, a London, UK-based managed data services provider serving UK mid-market and corporate customers, has raised £8m in new funding from Penta Capital.The company has also completed the acquisition of Cloud Computing Centre (CCC), a Surrey-based managed cloud hosting expert established in 1999.Led by CEO Keith Bates, Cloud Computing Centre provides over 100 mid-market hosting customers with a cloud platform complementary to the existing Six Degrees technology.Alastair Mills, CEO, Six Degrees has a converged services portfolio including datacentre, connectivity, voice and cloud offerings.With the acquisition, it will strengthen its ability to win mid-market and corporate cloud hosting contracts and to deliver new services to existing clients.
