Prague-based Woltair lights up with €16.3 million to help consumers install solar panels and heat pumps

The startup, previously called Top\xedte.cz, makes it easy for consumers to shift towards affordable energy solutions. Founded by Karel N\xe1prstek, Jiri Sveda, and Daniel Helcl in 2018, the digital platform connects consumers, technicians, and supply chains to streamline the purchase and installation process.The Czech platform has now secured 16.3 million in funding to make inroads in Poland, Italy and Germany by the end of 2022. The Series A round was led by sustainability fund ArcTern Ventures and backed by Westly Group, Aternus, Kaya VC, Inven Capital, and Movens Capital.According to the startup, the platform has served over 3,000 customers and is growing 4x year-on-year.
