This approach is itself being extended to include more and more structures and supporting technologies to enhance the atlases’ usefulness in planning by surgeons in a growing range of specialties.More recently, Nowinski used his brain atlases to develop innovative new solutions for stroke diagnosis, treatment, and prediction.This approach is itself being extended to include more and more structures and supporting technologies to enhance the atlases’ usefulness in planning by surgeons in a growing range of specialties.In 2013 his “The Complete Human Brain” was the first brain atlas app to be published for the iPad.More recently, Nowinski used his brain atlases to develop innovative new solutions for stroke diagnosis, treatment, and prediction.Wieslaw Nowinski earned his Master of Science in computer design at Warsaw University of Technology in 1977 and completed his doctorate degree with distinction at Lodz University of Technology in 1985.In 1991 he moved to Singapore to begin work at the Biomedical Imaging Lab at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), where is now director of the lab.Nowinski holds 32 patents with 19 more in the application process.
