The companies it has invested in include restaurant booking app Chope, grocery e-mart Redmart and plant-based frozen food-chain Kind Kones.The round also saw participation from Nuguru, which incubates and invests primarily in women-led businesses as well as fashion brand Love, Bonito.Founded in June 2021 by sisters Mili and Maya Kale, the startup looks into finding high-quality, effective and customised natural remedies for every stage of womanhood.The companys range of products include a personalised supplement range formulated by an expert-backed quiz targeting an individuals wellness goals and needs. Other products include packs for specific health concerns such as haircare, skincare, daily wellbeing and sleep.Mooms suite of products is formulated in consultation with a panel of womens health experts specialising in areas such as naturopathy, nutrition, dermatology, gynaecology, sexual health and traditional medicine.The company was born out of Mayas experience with PCOS an endocrinological problem affecting women globally at the age of 15. Similarly, sister Mili had experienced a spell of hormonal acne at the age of 28.A desire to find natural remedies to address these issues eventually led the duo to form Moom Health.
