In response to the increase in online fraud and hacking activities, users have begun using cybersecurity software, like VPNs, much more often. Secondly, on April 11, 2022, SailPoint, the market leader in enterprise identity security, announced that it had entered into a formal agreement to be bought by Thoma Bravo, a major software investment group, in an all-cash transaction of about $6.9bn.
