Everytable Wins $55 Million Expanding Healthy Fast Food Brand
Summary
Kaiser Permanente Ventures of Auckland and South African restaurant Kimbal Musk were among those who joined the increase. The company plans to spend the new money building new stores, expanding its subscription delivery service and growing its foodservice business across Southern California, the Bay Area and New York. Everytable has raised at least $91 million in total since its launch and has nearly 160 employees, according to PitchBook data. Each table rates meals based on the average income per ZIP code. At Everytable, food is prepared from scratch in a central commissary kitchen and distributed to their takeaway or take-out stores, a business model that the company claims lowers costs for standard restaurant operations. This spring, Everytable launched its e-commerce delivery service in the Bay Area and plans to open storefronts there in 2023. The company launched its first East Coast stores earlier this year, with three locations opening in New York and three more planned in the Big Apple end of the year.It has been exciting to watch Sam and the Everytable team carry out their mission as they expand and serve new communities, Delphine DeCamps, US managing director of Credive, said in a statement.
