Gathern closes undisclosed seed round

Gathern, a Saudi Arabia-based booking platform for chalets and villas, has closed its seed round investment by a group of local and international investors including Inspire Venture, 500 Startups American Fund , Vision VC Fund, Aquilaria Capital Management Fund and Deyarat Trading Company. The amount raised remains undisclosed.Launched in 2016, Gatherns mobile application and website allow customers to compare properties to book in more than eight cities in Saudi Arabia. In a statement, Latifa Altamii, cofounder at Gathern, said that the investment will be used to grow the companys customer base and capabilities.
