The round was led by Distributed Ventures with participation from Gerry McCarthy, CEO of Merative, Laurie McGraw, former SVP of Health Solutions at the AMA, and Don Holzworth, serial entrepreneur and Chairman of the Advisory Board at the UNC Gillings School of Public Health. Led by Barrett Cowan, Chief Medical Officer, and Pam Pure, Chief Executive Officer, Posterity Health provides an extensive portfolio of technology-enabled male fertility services, including at-home diagnostics, virtual visits and in-person consults focused on improving a man’s fertility status. The company’s Male Factor Management Platform offers a combination of virtual visits, at-home diagnostics and in-person consults to help assess and improve patients’ fertility status. Services include baseline assessments, sperm preservation, semen analysis, pregnancy loss consults, diagnostic workups, vasectomy reversals and gender affirming care. The Posterity Health care protocols are developed in conjunction with the Medical Advisory Board, which consists of the top male fertility leaders in the country, including Dr. Peter Schlegel, James J Colt Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine, Dr. James Smith, the Director of the Male Reproductive Health Center at USCF and Dr. Stan Honig, the Director of Men’s Health at Yale University.
