Investor Consortium to Acquire Zendesk for USD 10.2 Billion

An investor group will pay USD 10.2 billion to acquire Zendesk Inc., a provider of customer support and sales software. Hellman & Friedman, Permira, an entirely owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and Singapore’s GIC sovereign wealth fund are all members of the investment group purchasing the company. Zendesk is valued at USD 77.50 per share under the agreement, 34 percent higher than the stock’s closing price on Thursday.
