67 Students Complete Uni.Asia Life Assurances (UAL) Financial Academy Program

Jacky Chan, Uni.Asia Life’s Chief Officer of Agency Business and Operations said, “The UAL Financial Academy Camp is part of Uni.Asia Life’s overall involvement in corporate responsibility initiatives under the Community dimension.The MoneyTree Program educates children from ages 6 -17 years old on financial literacy through fun activities in class, group dynamics, role playing, simulations and other interactive tools.### Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, December 06, 2011 --( PR.com )-- 67 primary and secondary students from 8 schools around the Klang Valley were shortlisted to attend Uni.Asia Life Assurance’s 2011 UAL Financial Academy Camp in COPE Adventure, Ampang from 19 to 21 November 2011.Gedangsa, Kuala Kubu Bharu.All 72 participants who attended the camp were given the opportunity to take the accreditation exam offered by Open University Malaysia acknowledging that they have completed the Financial Education program.At the end of the program, students used the MoneyTree currency they’ve earned during the camp to bid for prizes such netbooks, MP4s and meal vouchers.Students were also entreated to UAL’s “multi-copter” launch, an exciting cheerleading performance, a sumptuous BBQ dinner and delicious cupcakes for World Children’s Day.
