Private equity houses Astorg and Epiris have made yet another increased offer to buy financial news service Euromoney in a deal valuing the business at about £1.6bn. The company was trading at about £10.94 per share prior to the offer being announced, and is trading this morning at around £13.80 per share. Euromoney publishes a monthly business and finance magazine, as well as running events and exhibitions and providing data. The company made pre-tax profits of £61.4mn in 2021 according to the FT, up from £54.3mn in 2020.
