Endeavour Capital Acquires Majority Ownership Of Market Transport

Market Transport, Ltd., a Portland, Ore.-based transportation services company, announced that Endeavour Capital acquired majority ownership in the companyfrom Peter W. Stott, who founded Market Transport in 1969.Under the terms of the agreement, Endeavour Capital will partner with Market Transports current management, and its investment will be used to help the company grow both through internal growth and acquisitions.In addition to Endeavours stake, Stott will retain ownership. The entire executive management team remains intact and has new ownership incentives. Brian Fitzgerald, president and chief executive officer for 13 years, will continue to serve as president and CEO, reporting directly to the board of directors. Peter Stott will retain his position as chairman of the board. Through its Market Logistics division, the company provides single-source transportation management for shippers.Endeavour Capital is a Portland-based private equity investment firm.
