Peter Evans Flooring decided upon entering the GSB programme that they wanted some assistance in developing a sales and marketing strategy to help them achieve their substantial growth targets.Anne referred Peter Evans Flooring to International Business Wales Advisers to gain assistance, which was the first step to moving the company into Europe.Goals included increasing turnover, diversifying into specialist areas and expanding the business internationally.New managing director, Glyn Thomas, wanted to develop the staff’s IT competency in using the company CRM database and ‘Exchequer’, their accounting software.Peter Evans Flooring is currently getting ready to move this forward and progress internationally.Staff development training was organised through DCELLS, and Peter Evans flooring are able to take the opportunity of 50% funding towards their training through the Workforce Development Fund.Opportunity Wales are currently assisting in the creation of a CRM database.Over this period, three new jobs were created, and sales increased by £700k.With such a high increase in both profit and workforce, they are developing their company as desired.“As GSB is a fully funded project, Peter Evans Flooring was able to get the most out of free, independent advice.
