IronCore Labs, Inc., a Boulder, Colorado, and Bozeman, Montana-based developer of a customer-controlled data platform for software vendors, closed a $1.5m seed round of funding.The round was led by Next Frontier Capital with participation from Blue Note Ventures, PV Ventures, v1.vc, and several private investors.In conjunction with the funding, Richard Harjes, General Partner at Bozeman-based Next Frontier Capital, is joining the IronCore Board of Directors.The company will use its funds to launch its solution publicly.Led by Patrick Walsh, CEO, IronCore provides cloud software companies with a SaaS-based customer-controlled data service that shifts control of security and compliance keys to the owner of the data enabling enterprises to store sensitive data in the cloud without loss of security or control, and SaaS vendors to get to sell more software.
