Shizzlr Raises Seed Round of Funding

Shizzlr LLC, a Orange, Conn.-based developer of a software development kit and platform that enables developers to add private sharing and group chat into iPhone and Android mobile apps within minutes, raised a seed round of funding.Backers included Connecticut Innovations (CI), which committed $200k, a strategic investor and other individual investors.GroupcentricSM allows users to privately share rich content with groups across the many applications that use the platform.To date, Shizzlr has released 15 apps.It plans to build several additional apps as a supplement for outside developers utilizing the software development kit.
