Almadom.us, a Bergamo, Italy-based provider of smart home automation products, raised €500k in equity funding.Backers included Innowatio Group, Clevergy, Belp Corporate, Sapra Elettronica, Multiconsult, SMPI Group, the co-founders of the company, Digital Magics (AIM Italia: DM), Mario Molinari’s Mover Investimenti, Claudio Loda, and Simo Beraha.The company, incubated within and participated by Digital Magics, intends to use the funds to continue to develop the products, increase its manufacturing capcity and expand its sales and markting efforts.Co-founded by Marco Zanchi and Alessandro Benedetti, which own a 55,02% stake of the company following the capital increase, Almadom.us is advancing domoki, a solution to save energy by monitoring lights, thermostats, valves and sockets and other objects connected to the Internet.Domiki, which is activated via vocal command, touchscreen, mobile and PC, is currently available for pre-orders on www.domoki.it with shipping expected to take place at the end of July 2016.
