Lightly, a Zurich, Switzerland-based tech startup that enables users to build machine learning models, raised $3M in Seed funding. The company intends to use the funds to increase headcount and expand to the US. Founded in 2020 by Matthias Heller and Igor Susmelj, Lightly helps companies to build machine learning models fast through data, which is currently the biggest bottleneck in AI development. The data curation tool enables machine learning teams to save time and money on data selection and labelling, whilst at the same time improving the performance of models.
