Cloud Elements is currently soliciting responses to its fourth annual State of API Integration (SoAI) Report. Four years later, the company’s goal remains unchanged: to gather and share the collective experiences of API providers and consumers so that everyone can serve each other better. Cloud Elements claims its SoAI report has become one of the most widely read in the industry and serves as an invaluable resource for developers, architects, product managers and practitioners. The 2020 SoAI Survey will collect and analyze data from hundreds of API enthusiasts in more than 20 distinct industries. The report will cover the evolving need for data/API standards; the burgeoning open banking movement; data governance issues and best practices; and the changing landscape for developers, from GraphQL gaining momentum, to AsyncAPI headed toward becoming the defacto standard for event-driven integration, and more.
