She completed her OB/GYN residency at Wake Forest University Medical Center, followed by two fellowships in advanced gynecologic endoscopic surgery, one under the direction of Dr. Harry Reich, a pioneer in the field, and another under Dr. Joseph Sanfilippo at Allegheny General Hospital and Magee Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.
